A Different Offering
Our ground beef comes from mature mother cows (3+ years old) that we've selected out of our breeding program. These are healthy, well-cared-for cows that may not meet our specific breeding standards (due to udder conformation, feet structure, disposition, etc.), but produce excellent quality beef. These cows have lived their entire lives on grass, resulting in 100% grass-fed beef with rich, robust flavor.
Unlike our grain-finished beef quarters, this ground beef is purely grass-fed from start to finish. Grass-fed beef naturally produces leaner ground beef than grain-finished beef, which is why our ground beef is 85-90% lean.
